Some of the nicest, friendliest, informative nurses and doctors have been at this clinic. Unfortunately they have also left this clinic.
In all the years I was a patient here it was always easy to get an appointment. However as easy as that is the complete opposite is true for getting information by phone. Questions about medications, test results, or billing go straight to an answering machine. You leave your call back name and number, but they rarely do actually call you back. You really have to pester them. And it's not the staff's fault, when they do call they are very honest and friendly. The doctors don't seem to communicate with the staff because they will tell you something completely different.
Getting prescriptions renewed was easier with the previous doctors and nurse practitioners. Not dealing with an insurance company helps too. Once the insurance company gets involved it can turn into a lengthy headache that leaves you and your pharmacist in the dark about what is going on. If you have a serious health condition that could be time sensitive, go to an urgent clinic. Don't wait for them to let you know what is going on, you'll be the last to know.
And on a personal note, Dr. Ramanathan will judge you by the way you look and treat you accordingly.
Pros: Easy to make an appointment. Friendly staff.
Cons: You will never get a call back for more information.
