I recently discovered Family Dental Practice after my employer switched insurance providers. The location is convenient as I am from Windsor. The staff was always very friendly and willing to answer questions over the phone. If they didn't have an answer, they were always willing to call you back promptly with one.
I went in with some hot/cold sensitivity and what felt like a small cavity in one of my front teeth. Dr. Mason was able to quickly scan my mouth and detect several issues, cracked fillings, etc, that my previous dentist of 15 years never even saw! I visited the other guy two weeks prior to switching - and my am I glad I did!
Dr. Mason was able to take pictures of my teeth using a hi-definition camera and a bright LED light on a swivel, and then point issues out to me and explain exactly what was going on. It makes a lot more sense when you can see the issue, right there in front of you. There was no denying it, I needed my first root canal.
In a follow-up visit Dr. Mason was able to perform root canal therapy on a deep cavity I had let go for nearly 5 months while wrapping up college. He was able to put in a permanent filling the very next day. I didn't even need ibuprofen the morning after the root canal, he did such a good job! I could tell during the procedure how focused he was on doing it right. So far, so good.
I will definitely be returning to his office for a cleaning and the final crown on the tooth. My family, after hearing about my experience, is also looking into switching to Family Dental.
Life has enough headaches, don't let a stressful, outdated, or unskilled dental experience be one of yours!
