Excellent animal care 8/24/2010

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. LeMay and his staff many times since I moved back to Minnesota from Los Angeles. My first experience was with my critically ill cat who ended up being in the ICU for the first three days I was here! It was a huge bill but very worth it. My cat has required a lot of care since then and the staff has always been very accommodating and helpful in both getting the supplies and the care we need. We continue to take the rest of our clan (three dogs and two cats) to this clinic and will do so as long as we live in the area. This clinic is not full of cutting edge equipment but the care given to the animals is top-notch in my book and I am a professional veterinary technician. more

Puppy not microchipped 2/5/2007

I dropped my puppy off for her spaying, vaccinations, and microchipping. My puppy did not come home with a microchip and the staff did not catch this mistake. I paid for the microchip service, but when she was scanned at a different vet clinic, they told me she had no microchip. Family Animal Hospital fixed the mistake at my request and did microchip my dog, but if I hadn't brought her to another vet, I would not have known she did not have a microchip. It is very scary to think that my puppy could have ran away or been taken and would not have had this permanent identification for someone to contact us. Other care provided at this clinic was satisfactory. more
