Whoever finds it appropriate to criticize and belittle a church here is of little maturity and spiritual substance.
First, the Bible speaks in Matthew 18:15 to approach the ""sinful"" person in private. Second, if the issue is not resolved then to take another witness, in the case of accusing ""Elders,"" the witnesses should be reliable and be known to the church as Elders/Pastors or leaders outside of the church as stated in 1 Timothy 5:19,
""Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.""
Therefore, (1) Those writing here, did you do it in person first? If not your are slandering. (2) If yes, then did you gather ""Elders"" to be your witnesses? If not you are divisive to the Body of Christ, not just men.
Therefore, do not take pleasure in ""airing your opinions"" as stated in Proverbs 18:2, ""Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.""
But rather follow the way of peace and humble yourself, ""accusing"" as a Christian outside the Bible is not mature but ""devilish"" as seen in James 3:14-16, ""But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.""
Pastor Danny has taken time to respond to these accusations because he cares about the people. Thus, I come to his defense to give an answer for these accusations without obscurity. I am Joe Wyrostek Pastor and Elder of Metro Praise, 773.870.9860 - and I challenge anyone to publicly to stand by your accusations before other Elders. Until then, all the Christians here pray for the enemies of Faith World, forgive them, and bless them, for the are enemies of the cross, not just men.
If you are not willing to do this, then may God's word speak to your heart,
Proverbs 12:15, ""The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.""
Proverbs 12:16, ""Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult.""
