I have taken my car to FASC for over 10 years. I have always felt that they have been fair and honest with me. Until the big problem occurred and now I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. After spending over $3000 for a complete frontend engine rebuild within 3 days my car began a very noticeable ticking in the engine. I took the car back to them and after listening to it they promptly told me that they had nothing to do with it and that it was my fault for not changing the oil religiously. I have had 2 other mechanics look into my problem and both agree my problem had nothing to do with my maintenance of the vehicle. To make matters worse I recommended my Father take his car to them and they told him he needed a new engine. After taking his car to the dealer he found out that he had a minor problem that was fixed for a few hundred dollars. Now my stepmother took her car to FASC this week and they told her that she needed a new computer. After discussing the problem with the dealer she found out that she only needed a new circuit board for half the cost the FASC quoted her. She went back and spoke with Mike and Mike got noticeable angry towards her that she did not believe him. Come on FASC shoot straight with your customers. more

I have taken my cars to Fairwood Auto Service Center every time since moving to Fairwood. I have always been a bit reluctant with repair shops wondering of you are getting gouged, ripped off or lied to but I have complete trust in this shop. I would recommend these folks to anyone. Every time I have taken my car to this shop they typically have it done the same day and in some rare occasions the next day without an appointment. They assist when possible to pay less by finding alternatives to situations. This is one great and trustworthy shop more

We've been taking our cars there since we moved to the Fairwood area about 10 years ago. 93 Mazda, 83 Buick, 97 Toyota p/u. They do excellent work and have great customer service. I feel fortunate that there is such a good place so close to home. more

My Dad started going to Fairwood auto when I was just a kid – my Dad is huge into finding the best deal for his money, my Mom always jokes that he wouldn’t buy a toothpick without checking Consumer Reports first. Now I take our family cars there. We’ve gotten just about everything done there, they’re fast, their fair and I highly recommend them to everyone. And my Dad still goes there, many (not giving away my age) years later! more

I took my car into Fairwood Auto Service Center for an emissions repair. They did a great job repairing my car, but when I went to pick it up, I found paint peeling off the top of the car. I did find out that it was not their fault in the end, but it was a little frustrating entrusting someone with my car only to find that damage was done to it while parked in the parking lot. Their prices did seem fair and I would probably have my car repaired here again if I needed an emissions repair again. more
