NEVER eat here!!! Especially of you are a vegetarian! Messed up our order 3 times. And there were only 2 of us! I personally ordered vegetable dumplings. They brought pork. My husband told sent them back and told the waiter I could not physically eat meat. Then instead of bringing me tofu. They brought me chicken. They offered to call the manager or owner to "" fix"" it. Seriously how do you fix poisoning some one? You can't fix vomiting or the other!!! more

First and foremost, this is not a vendetta because I have worked there, but my opinion is based off of the normal standard of what a decent restaurant in America should uphold. This place is grossly overpriced for the second hand type food you will receive. Corresponding to the other review, the ""customer service"" is actually quite horrible. The manager only hires young females or his friends of similar ethnicity to work the counter or wait, and hires blatant substance abusers to deliver food. This bleeds over to ""customer service"". The delivery boys never know a thing about anything, and the service is quite slow. All of the other male waiters have a vendetta against other races, and just want you to leave when nearing a closing hour. This is not personal opinion, but fact as they have said this in my short time working there. On more than one occasion, one of the waiters brought his extremely under age son to wait tables while HE took up the tips....which could have been the actual person's who WAS working that zone. The place is run EXTREMELY not by the book, or any legal book for that matter, and even if all these things did not exist, the food remains to be make-shift and over priced. I often go there once a week. The customer service is fantastic, maybe because they recognize me when I walk inside. The lunch specials are great: meal, egg roll, and soup. The dinners are under ten dollars, but they have chef specialties under twenty dollars for those who want a little something extra. The hot and sour soup here is one of my favorite soups anwhere. They will make any food spicy at your request. The customer service, along with the food, should leave you with a feeling and desire for more. If you happen to be in Pasadena, and looking for something to eat, stop by and experience it. I promise you won't regret it. It is in the corner of the Best Buy shopping center. A great local joint.
