I was charged $30 for having a tank top's straps shortened, and the alteration was the sloppiest I've ever seen. My shirt was returned to me with loose threads hanging from the straps and bumps and bulges where sewing had been done.
When I complained, an employee working in dry cleaning said she would request that the alterations lady, who was off for the day, fix my shirt. I returned a few days later to find that the shirt had not been fixed. At this point I was asked to fill out a complaint. One week later, the manager had not addressed my complaint. Two weeks later, he still had not addressed my complaint. Finally, after one week of alterations and three weeks of waiting for someone to respond to my complaints, I picked up my shirt and assured Fairfax Valet that it would never again receive my business.
Cons: Service, alterations, availability of manager
