I must first say that I am not a member of this church. I am however the sister-in-law of Betty Blackmon. I went to visit my sister in law today. She is handicapped and in a wheelchair so she couldn't really announce this herself. She has now pointed me out to speak for her. This is what Mrs. Betty Blackmon wants you all to know about her husband. Did you know that she is very ill. Her mariage to Roger Blackmon is now a 21 year marriage. Betty has been disabled for 9 or 10 years now. She has a disease that is in her brain and it affects her speech,and all her motor skills. Roger came home 1 day and told Betty that he has a girlfriend. He has been committing adultery on his wife with her. He told Betty (his wife) that he was leaving her for his girlfriend. I know this devistated Betty and it had to devistate their 3 children. Thats right, their 3 children. Roger also at that time let Betty know that the girlfriend of his had him a new baby. So, this is to inform you of a man who is preaching the word of God to your children has a girlfriend and baby up in the church while his wife ( they are still married, not divorced) and 3 children sit at home neglected by him. He still even has the audacity to come home sometimes at 5:30 a.m just to be there at the house to torcher her mentally. This woman ( Betty Blackmon) is defenseless as her husband keeps coming around and reminding her that she doesn't matter to him no more. Don't you think that would hurt your feelings if it were your spouse? This man should be absolutely ashamed of himself. His handicapped wife, he has left. Sometimes Betty and the children will go without food for up to 2 days at a time. While he lays up with another lady who he doesn't mind taking care of. He should be a disgrace to the church. If he helps the ministry, he should be fired. How can you have a man who is going against the word of God, preach the word of God? To the youth at that? Think about it for a minute! Because if Betty could walk, I highly doubt that I would be writing this review. She would handle it herself. But being that Mr.Blackmon wants to take advantage of her being disabled and thinking she wont be able to get her feelings out because he run her over all the time, I would like Mr. Blackmon to know something.
