I almost died drinking here. I ordered a round of drinks here and when I took a sip I felt something in my mouth. When I took it out, it was a thin razor sharp inch and a half shard of glass. If I had swallowed, or gone in my mouth sideways, I would have been in serious trouble. When I took it to the bartender, he asked me where it came from. I said I didnt know, and he pointed to the glass (where it had apparently chipped off) and continued to look at me, like I had something to do with it. I just shrugged, not sure what he wanted from me. I'm the one that almost drank it. At that point I said I didn't think I should have to pay for the round ($20) and he said, ""now you want a free round, for what?"". I said, I could have died if I drank this shard of glass. He said, ""are you kidding me?"" I said, no, I'm not kidding, I could have died. He said, ""f--- you, you could have died"". At that point I asked for my card back, signed it with 0 tip. When I talked to AMEX today to dispute my charge, they said there was a $24 hold on the card. I'm still waiting to see if that is just a hold, or if the guy is actually going to give himself a $4 tip that I did not write in. I don't feel they are entitled to charge me for drinks I could have died from. I certainly don't think they should tell a customer to go f--- themselves. I've filed a complaint with the city about the glass.
Pros: pool table
Cons: razor sharp glass in beer. Bartender who thinks its not a big deal.
