I have been a customer since they opened. I purchased my glasses on Feb. 21. I wore the glasses for about 1 1/2 weeks and the lens fell out. On March 20th I returned the glasses to FACTORY EYEGLASS in GREENSBORO, NC on STANLEY ROAD. The optician returned the glasses to the factory because ""the lens is DEFECTIVE!""!! I waited 3 weeks to get my glasses back. I wore my glasses for 4 weeks and AGAIN the lens fell out of the frame. I returned the glasses and the optician repaired the eyeglasses by ""popping"" the lens back in place. I asked about the warrenty on defective frames and I was told that they can be repaired. Wore the glasses for approx. 2 weeks and AGAIN THE LENS FELL OUT. I returned the glasses to a new employee was at the counter and I told him this is the third time I have brought the glasses back and I want them repaired or a new frame. I was told by the new employee behind the counter that the man that was there before him, had the equipment is such bad repair that he would send them off for repair. I returned 3 weeks later and the glasses were returned to me with huge scratches on the lens. The scratches were so bad the the glasses were useless. I questioned the employee and his responce was that the scratches were on the lens when I brought them in for repair. MY LENSES WERE NOT SCRATCHED WHEN I BROUGHT THEM IN""!!!! The employee's responce was ""WE HAVE A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION"". My defective eye glasses (frame and lens) are useless to me now. The employee made no effort to explain the scratches or even admit the lens was scratched during repair. I refused to take the useless glasses and asked for a customer service number. I was told that there was not a customer service contact number. I drove to Greensboro 4 times in less than 4 months. And still have no glasses. It is true you get what you pay for and that includes the SERVICE. BEWARE!!! UNSATISFIED LONG TIME EX-CUSTOMER.
