Reminiscent 1/24/2013

I rarely ever write reviews but since i've been coming to Facenda for years, I thought it was about time they'd receive some kind words from myself!\r \r I have been taking my kids here for years (they're all grown up now, sadly) but we always had a great time. I've had a couple of their birthday parties hosted here and the employees were fantastic in guiding us to have a smooth day.\r \r Sometimes, my coworkers and I come here to bowl but not too much anymore. (Getting too old!) \r \r I highly suggest this facility for families in the area with youngin's. From what I heard, the arcade is great as well. more

Great facility 1/24/2013

Not only was the service awesome, but the fact it's open 24 hours is also great for young people such as myself. There is rarely anything to do besides clubbing past 9pm, and I'm not much of a clubber.\r \r I love bowling and arcades so this is usually at the top of my list when i'm in the area. The games are only $5, I believe and the wait isn't that long either - especially on a packed night, which is great. It has an welcoming atmosphere and i've actually made a few friends from coming here. We sometimes get together and come here!\r \r If you have children, I believe they also host children's birthday parties. Their games aren't that expensive so I can only imagine how inexpensive the parties are. It's a great time, highly recommended. more

Good place to go with a group. 11/25/2005

A sometimes forgotten spot, Facenda Whitaker is a fun place, especially with a group. People have children's birthday parties, teenagers and young adults come with friends and every so often there is a fundraising event and there are all kinds of ages. Some nights are filled with leagues so it is too crowded, but otherwise it's usually easy to get a lane or two. They have shoe rentals and a place to get food next door. PROS: Fun, arcade, food, unusual activity CONS: League nights more

Only game in town 10/31/2005

It's a long trip to this bowling alley from King of Prussia, but thats how it is in PA. Unlike Maryland where everything is fairly close by. Anyways, the bowling joint is nice, but it could use a DJ on the weekends, which is missing. The prices tend to be a little high compared to other bowling places. The food service is a little slow as well. The scoring is computerized, but so is every other place. PROS: its one of the only bowling places within a certain distance CONS: food service slow, a little expensive compared to other places more

fun fun fun 10/27/2005

a great place to hang out wid friends. huge area wid lots of fun things to do and play. all ages are allowed. helpful crew. open till late so can b fun late nites. have group deals. i saw a mixed age grouped people in it and so thought it would be lotsa fun. also i meet few of my high school friends there. who knows you might find yours too. the parking area is large enough and as many times i have went there i have always gotten parking, eventhough they are very buzy. there is an indoor bar which is good for hang out too. the nice thing about it is that it is near to residencial area so we didnt have to go far to hang out wid friends. PROS: fun place wid fun stuff to do CONS: a little bit expensive ;- o more

Great Family Entertainment 9/3/2005

There is a local bowling alley that provides tons of entertainment for families. There are senior citizen leagues, a Saturday league for kids and leagues that fit your schedule for day or evening. During the summer there is also a summer league for kids. They have computerized score keeping which has recently been installed and the lanes are in pristine condition. There is a large game room inside the alley where you can play games and earn tickets to cash out for prizes. Steppys Restaurant is also located in the alley. It is a sports bar with pub type food. The restaurant has sit down dining available but also has a take out window that leads into the bowling alley for snacking while bowling. Fries and Cheese Fries are a favorite of the teens. They also have fried ravioli too! This alley has been around for many years and is constantly being updated. It is one of the most modern alleys around and even has facilities to have children's birthday parties. more
