Best

Yet another cafe place. What makes this one a little better than the others is probably the fact that it is more low key. Many cafes are crowded, but this one is not really crow...

Worst

the waitstaff become invisible the minute they seat you, so good luck trying to get more tea or even water or even your order... the food itself is mediocre, and not very special...

yeah, it lives up to its name 11/6/2005

the waitstaff become invisible the minute they seat you, so good luck trying to get more tea or even water or even your order... the food itself is mediocre, and not very special. if i wanted half-hearted food, i'd just open up a frozen dinner. still, for some inexplicable reason, a friend of mine loves this place to death. she swears by their fruit tea and can't get enough of their x.o. fried rice. then again, she lives a very sheltered life and doesn't get out too much... more

Another Cafe Place 10/12/2005

Yet another cafe place. What makes this one a little better than the others is probably the fact that it is more low key. Many cafes are crowded, but this one is not really crowded all the time. The best thing here by far is the x.o. fried rice and it's is only 5 dollars under the lunch specials. more

Not very good... 9/17/2005

I really don't like this place. It's expensive and it's food isn't all that great. Some of the employees there have really bad attitudes. I would never go there again after one time because I had an awful experience. Try it for the heck of it but or else, there are better Cafe spots around the area. more

Cafe with American elements 9/1/2005

This is a pretty good cafe, within a block from The Hat, that serves up breakfast and such. They serve American and Chinese food for breakfast, and probably other meals. It's the usual: toast, porridge, coffee, etcera. Great food, and it's pretty much average compared to the nearby breakfast places and restaurants. more

Mmm, somewhat pricey and small portions 8/14/2005

A very small restuarant that offers american/asian food for prices nearing 7 bucks and up. A little word of caution though, these dishes come in small portions. The lemon tea and thai tea are great though. The soup is also very good, especially the corn creamy soup. It's a nice, small family restaurant with a wide variety of drinks and dishes. more

Inexpensive and tasty food 8/11/2005

This restaurant serves Chinese/Hong Kong style food, like many other restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is not as noisy or unnervingly crowded, though. The waiters are also a little bit more attentive. I really enjoy their deep-fried cod cutlet, with some sweet mayonnaise dip. Their strawberry shake is also better than at most other chinese restaurants in the area. Parking can be a problem on weekends, and we frequently have to use street parking. more

barley ok 8/11/2005

The name of the store speaks for itself, O.K. Café is just, O.K. While they have good service and a clean environment, that does not make up for the poor quality of food in there Asian dishes as well as the extravagant prices they charge for it. For a dinner special at 9 dollars, the clam baked rice lacked flavor and the rice seemed to be flavorless. If you can, avoid this place. more

Good food 8/10/2005

I've been there once and I enjoy their steak very much...especially the beef and the chicken steak. Although their service is just ok....not too good but not too bad. more
