Small store, great fabric 4/6/2006

I tend to overlook Fabric Mill when I am looking for material. Partially I think the size of their store, higher prices, and lack of coupons keeps me away. However, when I do visit, I am quickly reminded that they quality of their materials is higher than that found in other stores, and their fabric is really unique and beautiful. After visiting the mall recently and not finding any skirts to my liking that were less than $30, I stopped by Fabric Mill and bought the perfect skirt fabric (feminine with a vintage feel) for less than $11. The women working there were very helpful, even to the point of pulling a mirror out of the back room so I could hold up fabric bolts to myself to see which looked best. more

What? You don't know what you're doing 12/9/2005

I'm a novice at sewing and I felt like I was wasting their time when I went to Fabric Mill. It's a cute little store with loads of cute quilts hanging above your head. I've been there a few times now and each time I feel like they're bothered by my questions and that it's an inconvenience that I just might need their assistance. I love fabric, but it can be expensive, and I have yet to notice any deals they have here. I won't go here again unless I'm really looking hard for something and hope that just maybe this place might carry it, but even then, the chances that they'll have it aren't all that great either. more

great source for flannel, quilting supplies 11/15/2005

They have the biggest selection of quality flannels I am aware of. You pay more than you would at Joanns but the quality is better (less piling). They have super wide fabric to back quilts. They also have a good selection of quilt cottons, hawaiian prints, wide bolt lace, and satin. The staff is friendly and helpful. more
