I rarely use Fedex Office for printing artwork, but I needed to show it early the next morning. Upon entering the store (in a strip center in Timonium), I was told the employees are not allowed to use my external hard drive in their computers as it is a liability, after which I was told that this isn't a storewide policy, it was a personal policy of the female manager speaking. I actually have been printing images this way for years at several other locations. I tried both the computers and the color copier, both of which weren't compatible with my drive as they are outdated p.c.'s (as opposed to the computers they have behind the counter which instantly recognize my drive). After spending money on wasted time on the computers, a friend of mine was also trying to print in the computers, which weren't agreeing with the printers. I understand that technology doesn't always work the way we want it to, but every time I walked to the counter to ask for help (politely, mind you), I found myself waiting at the counter while the three employees on duty were gossiping, talking about personal things. One woman came and tried to help us, but walked away thinking the problem was fixed. It was not. Ten dollars later on the computer and the printer kept returning a ""printer error"" (even after the employee printed it herself). We decided to leave and cut our losses. I will admit one woman tried to refund my friend for her time since she didn't actually print anything and clearly no one was willing to help either of us. Later in the car, we realized she only refunded two dollars of the ten. As we were walking out, I heard the manager clearly and loudly say in a sarcastic voice ""Anyways...."". This was a middle aged, ""professional"" woman. All of this took place over the span of 45 minutes at 10pm (a 24-hour Fedex Office) with not a single customer beside ourselves. I was so displeased with the way we were being spoken to and the little respect we were given that I promise I will never go to this Fedex location again. Please don't waste your time. I have printed at countless different companies (including perfectly fine other locations of Fedex), but I haven't left a place feeling so disrespected and cheated in a very long time. I can't believe I had to give them even one star, because they surely don't deserve it.
