great place to take the kids on a nice day for a picnic. They have some well maintained tennis courts and a scenic pond where you can fish. Right next door is a golf course. Its located right next door to the sports stadiums. Its got great places for bbq or even to have a decent picni. The trick is to avoid this place during any sports games because it wil be crowded and no parking available. more

FDR Park is also known as Meadow Lake has a lot to offer. 8 tennis courts, plenty of fresh water fishing areas, several playgrounds for kids, and an 18 hole golf course. There is something for just about everyone here. Trails for jogging, biking, and walking. Picnic areas, and you can bring your own bbq grill, but get a permit first. more
