In Augusta is The Ezekiel Harris House. Augusta is loaded with history and this place is just one on the list of the must sees. It was built in 1797 by a tobacco farmer who hoped to make this area a big tobacco area. It is still furnished the way it was when Ezekiel Harris lived there and is in great condition. It is a beautiful house.
The Ezekiel Harris House is listed in the Smithsonian Guide to Historic Houses and is also on The National Register of Historic Places.
