Eyes Actually

I'm very pleased with my experience at Eyes Actually and with Dr. Petrov. They are friendly and accurate, and like the other reviewers I was also impressed with the frame selection. The only slight downside is that they don't open before 10 every day, wish they had at least one day where they opened earlier. to make it easier for those of us who don't work in the area. I have been wearing glasses for years and have been to many optical stores in my time (chain stores and private practices) but as long as I am in Ohio I will only go to Eyes Actually from now on. I cant even begin to tell you how friendly and accomodating the staff is there they really take the time to make sure the perscription is correct and the frame will work for both cosmetic and function purposes. I was surprised to find that they have a lot of really unique frames that didn't break the bank so I was able to get myself a really cool pair of sunglasses as well for what I expected to pay for only the glasses. The optician that works there really knows her stuff and is honest to a fault when helping you with the frame selection, it was refreshing to have someone tell you the truth and take the time to make sure the frame works instead of just saying yes to anything to make the sale. The other thing I loved about the experience was the eye exam, Dr.Petrov is very friendly and experienced and made it a lot more pleasant than usual and his perscription is on the money...Thanks Eyes Actually you have a customer for life... The only reason why this optometrist gets a single star is because they carry a nice selection of glasses frames. These shysters claimed they did not accept my insurance (though they were on the preferred provider list!) and when they finally consented and agreed to reimburse me the check they sent me bounced! I have been waiting for a new check since October 2008 and it is now July 2009. This company has terrible business practices and should not be patronized! Pros: Nice selection of frames. Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE. more
