I hate going to the eye doctor, but Dr. Black makes it as good as a doctor visit can be! If you have to get your eyes checked, this is the place to go!

They are NEW and IMPROVED! 1/23/2012

EYEdeals Garner just relocated into a larger space. I have gone to Dr. Black since he opened in Garner. They are a wonderful business. Kind, caring, and Dr. Black is amazing. I have a VERY bad astigmatism and really want to stay in contacts. So far, he has managed to keep me seeing 20/20 in contacts! They have updated their space, it's so pretty! You'll be greeted with a smile, and receive great care. I've taken my children AND my elderly mother. We all just LOVE EYEdeals! OH! There's a VERY good reason they use DEALS in their name! BEST prices around!!! more

Service that I Travel For 12/12/2011

I used to live in the Raleigh area and always went to Dr. Black. He is very caring, intelligent and thorough. I find his staff very delightful. Since I have moved away I always make a trip to Dr. Black's (Eyedeals). I would not trust my eyes to any other optometrist. more

Positive Experience 10/2/2011

I visited Eyedeals Optometry last week and enjoyed a very positive experience! Very impressed with Dr. Black's recommendation for treating eyestrain from computer use at work. He listened to all of my questions and gave me some clear answers.\r Definitely going back with my entire family. The new office is very comfortable and the optical assistants extremely helpful in explaining my insurance benefits. \r Great frame selections too! more

Professional, trustworthy doctor, friendly staff 9/20/2011

I COMPLETELY disagree with the other comments posted. I have used Eye Deals exclusively since moving here 18 years ago. Dr. Black is one of the most knowledgeable and professional Optometrists I have ever been to. My two grown kids still go to him and they both have left this area. My elderly mother was treated with compassion and care I found NO WHERE ELSE! I RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS HIGHLY!!! more

When I mentioned that it felt like my vision was not as good, he said"" well these are 40 year old eyes"". Ok, thanks for reminding me of my age jerk! He has no bedside manner at all. more

Not very impressed 8/7/2009

Had a change in insurance so had to find a new eye dr. Did a little research and did not see any negative (or positive) reviews on this place so thought I'd try it. The doctor (Dr. Black) was not friendly, and it almost seemed like it was an imposition for him to do the exam. The good side was the office staff was very friendly and nice and they were very helpful. Their glasses are expensive, but most opticians are if you buy from them. Next year will go back to Garner Family Eye care and just pay out of pocket. Pros: Friendly office staff, quick appt Cons: Aloof doctor, expensive glasses more
