I Can See Clearly Now 8/1/2005

There is something sweetly home grown about this office, which resonates with me. Perhaps it is all the native Ballardians waiting in reception, speaking with vaguely Swedish accents about the days when there was no traffic light at 15th and Market Street. I love atmosphere. I have only seen Dr. Carroll for routine check-ups (nothing serious), but have always left feeling thoroughly inspected. I have had the need for special contact fitting and he was prepared with the name of a colleague, so he is networked within his field. I think he is linked to Swedish. He also has an office on First Hill. He is a provider for VSP. The bonus of this office is Olympic View Optical, a small but jammed pack frame shop with good customer service. The offer eyewear by big (Fendi, Gucci, CK, Versace) and small-named designers alike. more
