We had the joy of working in Chattanooga TN for the past 3 weeks. I had searched high and low for an affordable place to stay. The Extended Stays wanted $70 and more a night!
I chanced across HomeAway Extended Stay Studios on page 8 of a google search and immediately booked a room for $45 a night. It included a king size bed, stove top, full refrigerator, 27 inch tv with 56 cable channels and HBO. Now I travel a lot for work and hoped this was all they said it would be.
It was!
The facility is only two years old (that's good news when looking for a hotel). It is two stories and 3 buildings. Onsite laundry, plenty of parking, pleasant staff. The rooms were very clean and though I smoke, our room did not smell of stale cigarette smoke. The bed was firm and comfortable. Oh - and free high speed internet access! It is located about 20 minutes away from major attractions (Lookout Mountain, Rock City, downtown Chattanooga). Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well.
