We finally threatened to get a lawyer and contact the BBB about our dresses when they still weren't in by the beginning of September 2013. My wedding is September 28, 2013. Then, the owner FINALLY called the company and got the dresses rushed over. However, three of the dresses were too big for the girls, and two of them were too small. One of those dresses was so small that my maid of honor had to order an emergency dress from David's Bridal to wear because the original dress could not be let out enough for her to wear it. (David's Bridal, by the way, are going to get her dress in IN A WEEK). What upsets us most about this situation is instead of apologizing for mis-measuring her, the rude receptionist accused my bridesmaid of being at fault because "she probably gained weight". She has lost 10 points since ordering the dress! Most bridal shops would be upset the dress didn't fit and offer to help, EIS however did not accept any blame for the wrong measurements or lateness of the dresses, nor did they offer any help. We never had an apology or offer to make things right throughout the whole ordeal.
After posting of our ordeal on Facebook, so many people from the Swartz Creek area told me they wished they knew I was going there, because they have had similar problems and would have told me not to go there. I feel like all of the positive feedback on here is either fake or few and far between, especially since I have shared my story and heard that so many people have had terrible experiences as well with EIS. We are filing a report with the BBB and trying to get the word out to as many people as we can to not go here. Save yourself the stress, time, and money!
