Although this is an older hotel, it was very clean and offered all the perks of the newer hotel chains. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. The furniture was older, but well maintained. We had a number of meetings scheduled in Marrero, and the hotel was within 5 miles of each location. The room rates were also very affordable. more

This property is located approx 9 miles from downtown. You absolutely cannot beat the price for this room. The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed. There was a microwave, refrigerator, table/chairs, a desk and a hairdryer. Mapquest showed that there would be a toll between the hotel and downtown, but there wasn't. There is also a very small cafe right down the road (toward new orleans) called We Geaux Cafe. This was some of the best food I've had in my life and at a ridiculously low price! We spent most of our time downtown or down river road seeing the plantations, but it was nice to come back to Westwego to wind down and get away from all the traffic of downtown. We will be staying at Express Inn and Suites the next time we come to New Orleans!! more

the hotel was very clean. the pillows where fluffy. the bed slept great. didn't .get many stations to choose from. close to the expressway and a few eating places . the staff not that friendly overall a great place to stay and the price was not bad . ooh and for get about breakfast doesn't exist. more

We were super late checking in due an unforeseen emergency on the way from Georgia. We received a phone call to verify our arrival. Most hotels would just cancel and rebook the room. I was so grateful because we were traveling with 9 people and were exhausted! We checked in close to midnight and still received excellent service. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family in the area and were very comfortable the entire time. Our rooms were always clean and we were asked several times if we needed anything. This hotel was very close to our family and only a short distance from New Orleans attractions. I will definitely stay here again when we visit. more

The room was super clean. That is due to a housekeeping staff that takes their time to do it right. The management and front desk were very friendly and helpful. The noise from the expressway was hardly noticeable. Very modern rooms with plenty of space. AC/heater kept the room at just the right temperature.It is close to New Orleans and there are great local restraunts around. I travel for my company alot and stay at a lot of hotels. This by far beats the chain hotels in all areas.I highly suggest that you stay here. more
