I bought a used Whirlpool washer and they told me it was completely checked out and cleaned. But when I ran it through a cycle, the water was dirty with floating gunk in it. After 4 more cycles I figured out the gunk was coming out of the agitator, so I took it apart. It was full of crud & lint and smelled bad, which also made me doubt if the washer had really been checked out either. So I asked the owner if I could return it, and at first he said no, but he finally agreed to take it back for a 15% restocking fee, even though I cleaned the dirty agitator, which took me 2 hours. I agreed to that just to get it over with, but I was still stuck with the delivery charges too, so the net result was that I lost $88 on the deal while the owner kept the $88 and will make even more by reselling the washer to some other sucker. His only concern was making a profit on the deal, and to he** with customer satisfaction. Any business run like this deserves to get a bad reputation and go out of business.
