On October 5, 2010 a tech named Vasiliy came out to my house to look at my stove and fix what was wrong with it. He diagnosed the problem as me needing a control board. The cooktop worked just fine, the stove just quite working one day. A few days later Elijah called to say that they can't get the part I need and that I would have to buy a new stove. WOW, ok I said. With no choice but to look for a stove, seeing how an oven is a must especially with the holidays approaching, I set out to find a good deal on a new oven. I found one and bought it and it was delivered on the following Monday. I don't know why but there answer for not being able to get the part just didn't feel right. I called GE and they gave me the model number of the part I needed and told me to do a search engine on it. I did and low and behold I found the part they said they couldn't.
