When I was looking for a good tanning salon, I went to all the surrounding salons near where I live in Huntley, Il. After trying at least 5 or 6 of them, I choose Executive Tanning Salon at 438 Randall Rd, Algonquin for the following reasons.\r 1. Cleanliness: The beds and the rooms are always clean, you never see any paper, wet floors in the room or anything else on the floor or on the beds. They keep it very clean.\r \r 2. Employees. All the girls are very courtious. They all greet you with a good morning, good afternoon or just a friendly smile and a Hi how are you. I have never seen any girl that was not friendly and courtious when you walk in, and as busy as they are, they never fail to tell you good bye or have a nice day. Also, I don't know how they remember so many customers, but it seems they know everyone by their first name when you come in the door.\r \r 3. Tanning beds; Always clean, the light bulbs are changed when due and the beds are always working properly. T more

As Good As Tanning Gets 1/20/2011

About as good as tanning gets - great equipment, very clean, nice environment, a little pricey, but in the ballpark with other tanning salons....I recommend this salon without hesitation. more

Very Dissatisifed with executive tans 12/26/2010

I am completley dissatisifed with executive tans. I got a christmas gift $55 and the purchase of a lotion i get two months unlimited in the "midgrade" levl bed. So i went today for the first time the staff was rude and had a poor tone and interest in the job. The bed was a small little piece of crap so i layed in for 15 min (the maximum) and the bulbs were dull, dim VERY dim almost dark, i though to my self it i suppose to be brighter? the bulbs were flickering as if they were about to burn out, i told the employee , she moved me to the bed next door , that beds lightess were even dimmer i asked her how often they change out the lights she said someone will change them the first of january, and i explained i was very dissatisifed with the midgrade and that i love darque tans there beds are the best i have ever went in, even the lower levels beds are bright and great the employee explains darque tans was over piced, yet she wanted to charge me another 65$ for the next level bed, i advi more

My 2 Cents 7/28/2008

I just Googled Executive Tans looking for their phone number and I happened to stumble on this web page. Reading a previous poster that was upset that April and her staff couldn't remember that posters name. Well, I find that verrrrrrry hard to believe. I have been a customer there since they opened and I for one can tell you that April has an ability to remember a persons name after a persons 2nd or 3rd visit (in my case anyway). In fact we had a conversation to that effect. It was a crowded evening and there were people standing in line out the door, I was standing in line waiting my turn and I was watching her as she and the girls would pull people up on the computer before they would even get to the counter (not all but surprisingly many). She seldom asked anyones name, she just said "hello, how are you doing (insert name), what bed would you like to do today? You're all set, have a nice tan". THE BEST TANNING SALON AROUND!!! 2/9/2008

i was very impressed when i went to executive tans...everyone was great and helpful...no one was rude at all. The beds are high class and i can not find any of these levels of tanning anywhere else. Executive tans has great specials. Not only that the salon is always clean everytime i walk in and the beds always look good. This is by far the BEST tanning salon in the area!!! more

Not Fond of Staff..I like Equiptment when it's working!! 1/7/2008

I Have been a member of the Salon for 1 Year & Tanned about 3X per week and Same Staff, so no excuse for what I am about to say.Staff could never remember my NAME, but could of others if you were of an interest to them or something to offer them. This Also INCLUDES April who runs the Salon! The Salon is Costly AND Inviting & Genuine Treatment should be EXPECTED! You should not feel to be of a NUISANCE especially when you are funding the Salon ALOT OF MONEY & Also A frequently broken bed could be down for days. My Membership is coming Due soon & I need to say I will NoT come back. I can find Comperable Equiptment ELSEWHERE That has an adequate Staff/OWNER. more

nice stuff 8/12/2006

The staff is hardly adequate. But the thing I like about this tanning salon is their equipment. The Ergoline especially turned me several shades darker in about 4 minutes. They also provide music while you tan. The prices are crazy but the same goes for all tanning salons. more
