I had a backache, off and on, since 2003 from a military training. An MRI showed a disc bulging between my L4 and L5 in 2007. In 2010, my back injury became more severe that I also had sciatica, herniated disc, and bone degenerative disease. Two medical doctors told me that my back pain was “unfixable, irreversible, and untreatable”. They both recommended taking only pain killers as a quick but short relief. I didn’t really want to take high dosage of pain killers and become dependent on them. I went through a series of therapy, from physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, and regular chiropractic between 2003 and 2010. All of them temporarily relieved me. In the late 2010, my problem became even more severe that I was dragging my left leg when I walked. It also became a burden because I couldn’t bend down or do my regular exercises. It also hurt when I cough!
One day, I accidentally found a newspaper ad on spinal decompression therapy. I had a consultation with the chiropractor, but I hesitated to have treatment from him because I didn’t know much about spinal decompression at the time. He was also too aggressive for me. So I decided to research on spinal decompression and found Executive Express Chiropractic online. I had a consultation with Dr. Adam Jacobs and Dr. Amy Sanders. They were very professional and not aggressive. After a trial of the spinal decompression therapy, I felt a significant relief. I knew then that the spinal decompression will fix my problems.
After a series of therapies with Dr. Sanders, I’m able to walk normally and slowly go back to my regular routine. My advice to everyone who has the same problem(s) as I do is:
1) Research thoroughly on spinal decompression and the clinic you’d want to check out.
2) Get a “free” consultation.
3) Ask for a free trial on the spinal decompression to have a feel for it.
4) Read testimonials from patients.
5) Look for professionalism from the chiropractor(s) and assistants.
6) The distance between work or home and chiropractor is a plus!
7) Ensure the chiropractor you found is “it”!
I found that Executive Express Chiropractic really fits my criteria. Dr. Eben Davis’ staff, Dr. Sanders, Dr. Pound and the medical assistants, were very professional, helpful, supportive, and accommodating which were a big plus to my recovery!
