A year ago, over a weekend, i took Dr. Stewart's Speed Reading course. Basically, I never thought that I would have any practical use for it in my health insurance business. THEN, last summer, Congress passed the new Health Care Reform bill and I figured I had better understand what it was all about - all 2400+ pages of it. Having practiced my speed reading weekly, i started reading the bill. I have finished multiple readings by now, and I would not have taken on this challenge unless for Bruce's course. Now, people are contacting me for information, since I have become somewhat of an expert on the 'real' facts. Thank you, again, Bruce for your wonderful training. more

I first attended Bruce's course in 2005, and recently came back for a free follow up. I have used his principles since 2005 with much success. I could listen to his accent all day. (In fact I did for two days!) My reading speed after 2.5 years was 2x. I increased it again during this follow up. His methodology is well presented. I would recommend him, especially since you can go back to subsequent classes once you have taken from him. The course is usually two days, and is at his home, which is in a nice neighborhood and location. more

I would describe myself as a fairly active reader. Way back before I ran my own business and had a family, I read a great deal for pleasure - classics, religion, political non-fiction, sci-fi. With all the demands on my time, I had pretty much given up on reading for pleasure and was primarily reading for work. Pros: Logical, scientific approach; relaxed setting. Cons: None. more

I am a student at UNCC and I wanted a course or a class that would help me improve my reading speed to better study for tests and to get homework and readings done on time. My father told me about this course and at first I said to myself that there is no way in two days i could increase my reading level four times what it was before. But after attending Dr. Bruce's course I saw that yes it was true, i increased my reading speed SEVEN! times than what it was and it has helped me in the long run with my school work. The course was easy to follow, it was very entertaining, and i enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in increasing their reading speed in a short amount of time. Pros: For the outcome it had on me it was very inexpensive. Cons: It was very far away from my house. more

The ExecuRead class conducted by Dr. Bruce Stewart was absolutely the most incredible, and time saving class I have ever taken. In my position as president of a construction company, the amount of information, emails, and material I need to read in a week is over whelming. The ExecuRead class has changed my workweek and given me hours back in my life that had been taken away. Dr. Stewart is an excellent teacher with the ability to make each person in the class comfortable no mater what your level of reading skill is when you start the class. The class is well worth the investment in time and money.
