Last year, after I failed an emissions test, it was recommended (by the emissions people) to me to bring my car to Excel Automotive to make it so I could pass the test. Long story short, they told me I had to replace three parts in my car. Not being a car person, I couldn't verify this but believed it that they were being honest with me so I agreed to pay the money. I was a shocked by the amount of money I was being charged as I went in with the expectations that I would be paying significantly less. Not long after, I took my car to another auto-repair center, this time one owned by family friends. After discussing with them my experience with Excel Automotive, they told me that I had only needed one part replaced and that I (not in these words) was screwed over.
Pros: Convenient to drive to
Cons: Very dishonest, overcharged me
