I had my hair cut there and it was awful. there is a 2 inch difference form one side to the other. It doesnt blend at all. The color was not what i was looking for. The staff was ...

I've lived in the city for 1.5 years now but kept trekking out to the suburbs to my same old stylist...until yesterday. I took a risk and went with Evolution after reading all the good reviews on here. Well now I'm adding yet another good review to the list. It was FANTASTIC! The service was quick and friendly, but best of all, my cut is perfect! I went in with a picture of what I wanted and came out looking exactly like the picture...perhaps better! Izekle (sp?) was very confident in his ability and just started snipping away at my hair. It turned out fabulously and I've gotten a ton of compliments on my fresh, new, sophisticated 'do already! I felt like I was in ""What Not to Wear"" or something. He just took charge and somehow knew what would look good on me. more

Best Hair Salon! 11/20/2007

I just went for the second time to Evolution and loved it again. My hair cuts have been fantastic both times and Mouluka is amazing at what she does. The salon has a relaxed, comfortable enviornment and you can get the exact cut that you want. Mouluka is the first hair dresser who has been able to style my curly hair with just a blowdryer and minimal product; resulting in straight, shiny, act like you're in a hair commercial while you flip your hair around hair. Another bonus to Evolution is the price, $40.00 for a great cut is a huge plus in a city where mediocre hair cuts can run $80.00 easily. more

Hair extensions 5/16/2007

I went there a few months ago to get hair extensions...first she made me color my hair darker (even though she found the same exact color I had for the extensions) which cost me $65 which was so not nesseary...I had my extensions sewed in which kept falling apart...every 2 to 3 days i had to go get it fixed.. i expected better and just ended up taking them out after 3 weeks cuz it was a hassle to go every week to get them fix....I had sewed extensions before and never had a problem...Too bad i didnt see the sign that said hair extensions for $280...cuz the owner is a liar and just is a greedy lady who wants more money....i paid $335 for them....never in my entire life will i recommend this place or ever go back... more

Wonderful service and expertise 12/18/2006

I totally recommend Evolution. I have curly hair and have suffered many disasters before. I come all the way from Indianapolis to get my hair done by Ezequiel. I allow him full freedom and I am always happier, prettier and feel sexier when I leave! TRY IT OUT, YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE! more
