Been a member for six months and love the atmosphere at the gym,the people are so helpful and friendly more

I have been going to evolution fitness for many years. The staff is extremely friendly. Especially the owner. What owner circulates there business and makes sure everyone is comfortable. He even knows everyones name. I have been to many other facilities. This by far is the cleanest gym i ever been to. The equipment is new and the atmosphere is positive!! After a hard days work i need to unwind at a place like this. more

While trying to find out when 2 pieces of equipment I use often would be repaired, I was treated very rudely by the manager, Steve Gourlay, Jr. I attempted to explain the details of the problem. He was immediately defensive and very abusive, and claimed he was away a month so he couldn?t know anything. I said that someone else would have been in charge while he was away (this is a business after all!), and I was just looking to find out the status of the equipment servicing. He actually walked away from me while I was speaking to him (I'm not longwinded & that is very rude!) Only after a nasty argument did he make a phone call, but at that point it was too late. I said I wanted to cancel my membership. He agreed to cancel my membership, but when he found out I just purchased a year long membership, he refused to honor the cancellation he had just agreed to. I would stay away from this place and spend your hard earned money where they treat you with kindness & respect. more
