I started seeing Dr. Evitt after getting pregnant with my first child, and I'm very happy that I did. I had a somewhat rough pregnancy and showed up to my first appointment after having to get an IV for dehydration. Dr. Evitt did everything possible to get me well and comfortable while also making sure that the baby was safe. Everyone in the office, including the other doctors, the nurse practitioners, the phlebotomist, and the office staff were incredibly friendly. They knew me by name and always talked to me and made sure I was well taken care of.
The only complaint that I, or anyone I've ever spoken to who I met there, have had is that sometimes you do end up waiting a very long time past your scheduled appointment. Even if you're just seeing the nurse practitioner for a checkup, it's easy to wait well over an hour past your appointment, plus extra time once you're taken back and your vitals have been taken. Still, this is understandable since the office (at least at the time) was on the floor below labor and delivery. You can't predict spontaneous labor, and it's not like Dr. Evitt could ask them to wait! In fact, when I was induced, Dr. Evitt did everything possible to be there for me when she was needed (including rushing back from an appointment so she could deliver). She was very supportive during my labor and gave me a big hug afterwards. I was very happy to have her present.
Now I've moved out of the state and am very sad that I won't be able to return to her in the future. I highly recommend her, as well as any of the other practitioners in her office!
Pros: Best doctor I could've hoped for
Cons: Wait times
