A very satisfied customer 1/13/2011

Not sure what the problem is with some of these guys, but I have been allowed to play any guitar I asked to play at Everything Musical. I do not blame them for wanting to help me get a guitar down off of one of the high racks. I certainly do not want to drop one or not hang it back up incorrectly. They have allowed me to play more than one custom Limited Taylor guitar, which by the way is way up on the top of the food chain of fine instruments, and all I had to do was ask. I guess if I looked like a drag worm that had nothing better to do than to go to music stores and try to show off how tallented I thought I was by banging away on an instrument which I obviously had no intention of buying like alot of guys I see in various music stores, then I would expect to be told not to play some of the expensive guitars without assistance. This store has stepped BEYOND reasonable business decisions concerning the 'Don't Touch' policy all over their store. Musicians cannot, and should not, deal with someone who expects them to pay store prices for equipment, yet give them the attitude when they walk in the door. Sure, any business may suffer a loss from a 'rogue' kid who accidentally drops a guitar, or a loud lick on a drum head. BUT, this IS a musical EQUIPMENT store, right? Not just a museum. The fact that the equipment is actually, physically, OFF LIMITS without a store employee 'allowing' me into the equipment area, is rediculous. Guitar Center allows anyone and EVERYONE who enters their store to grad and test ANYTHING on the floor, the wall, or behind the counter! NO QUESTIONS ASKED, loud drum players included. Sorry guys, but until you lighten up and allow those of us who enter your business to actually test, play, feel, look at, breath on, taste, and maybe even damage, your goods, then you will always be re more

This place cracked me up today. I was passing through town and stopped in at this place. I went to look at the drums and a salesperson actually bodily placed himself between me and the drums like a bouncer and said "CAN I HELP YOU?" more

Relaxed approach to selling good guitars. 5/17/2010

All Things Musical has a great variety of good guitars, electric and acoustic. Some are for advanced musicians and some are for the average guitar player, and a few are entry-level. Stan and Gary always welcome me and Stan tells good stories while Gary shows me the newest guitars. Gary's knowledgeable and a good picker so he knows what guitar players want. He and his colleagues put together a good deal for me on a guitar set-up and a case. This store is a nice palce to do business. Pros: Gary has excellent customer service skills. more

Good 6/18/2009

I have went in looking at guitars. They had a large selection. I asked if I could play some. They said sure. The guy showed me the selection he had in my price, and some that were higher in price. He said to feel free and try any that I wanted to. Ive been in several times since, simply ask if I can go and try some guitars, and they let me go right in and try all that I wish for as long as I wish. Havent purchased yet. Still trying to narrow them down. Pros: Good selection Cons: price more

They have a wide selection but do not want you to touch the instruments before buying, The customer service is slow and the prices are a bit high. But the selcetionis great more

Waste of Time Musical 9/25/2008

The last three times I have tried to purchase guitar strings and sheet music they have been closed, unless youwant to take piano lessons. Don't waste your time here goto Gorilla Guitars on Broadway. more
