This place is totally worth the trip. I love coming here. Yeah the staff is overworked, but they are extremely kind to those of us who visit the store.

What a place to have in the middle of downtown Downers. We bring our family there every Friday. What an excellent addition to the car shows. Employees - usually students - are quick and polite. My kids love to go there and ask almost every night for ice cream - not from the freezer but from the ice cream shop. Pros: Location, Service, Atmosphere Cons: Crowded, More napkins more

I have to say that I have been a loyal customer of Everyday's a Sundae for the 10 years it has been around and I don't appreciate that some really ""cold"" people slander this great place. It is one of the few family establishments in the suburbs and they always cater to the entire family. There is something for everyone. Those who have mentioned other ice cream places in these reviews.....let me remind you that without Everyday's a Sundae......your ""Daily Scoop"" would be without ice cream! I highly recommend this ice cream parlor to all those who appreciate that small town, personalized atomsphere and just plain great ice cream! Pros: fun, extended hours, good surroundings more

Best tasting ice cream in Downers Grove, western suburbs and possibly all Chicagoland. Always an interesting mix of unusual flavors, especially the choices for young children. Portions are surprisingly large. The ""Junior"" scoop is larger than a single serving serving at any other local ice cream shops. Staff is predominantly fresh-faced teenagers willing with enough patience to satisfy any ice cream patron. Location is excellent in the heart of downtown Downers Grove. I feel that everydays a sundae has the best ice cream ever!! IT has great prices, and the serviers are always soo nice and friendly!! I would take my family there any day!! If i want ice cream i go right for the good stuff, everydays a sundae's ice cream!! i prefer the hot fudge sundaes!! Pros: good service, parking, value more

They have great service. The employees there are very nice and speedy. I have never had a complaint. The prices are very reasonable and you get a lot for the money. I recommend cotton candy confetti for the innner child. Keep up the good work! Pros: inexpensive, moneys worth, YUMMY more

I have to say as a loyal ice cream fan, Everydays A Sundae in dowtown downers grove is by far the best ice cream parlor around! Not only is it the old fashion type of resturant you dont see much anymore but the employees are always so darn friendly! Two thumbs up for this fun place to take the family or a date! And you must try their bannana splits they are the best!!! Ill take a scoop of everything!!!!!!! more

Is there any better ice cream out there? Maybe, but definitely not in the western suburbs. Every Day's a Sundae delivers consistently great tasting ice cream - very rich and flavorful. The scoops are a good size - not the biggest I've seen, but for the price, it's still better than Oberweis. My favorite flavor is Moose Tracks (A Collision of Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Cream mixed with Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunks) on a waffle cone. The ambience is great for an ice cream parlor and the teenagers behind the counter are always friendly and efficient as well. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try.
