Evergreen Bike & Lawn

May 17, 2007 I had taken a lawnmower to Evergreen based on the wonderful review from Stephanie and I did not find the same wonderful service that she did. I was quoted a price of $50.00 on the phone to do my repair BUT when I was called to pick up the lawnmower the price had risen to $160.00. I asked why they had not communicated with me about the increase and the lady behind the counter acted surprised that I had been given a quote and then ignored me while I paid $160 to get my mower back. I did not feel that they were at all concerned that the price was triple what I had expected. I am greatly disappointed that they did not communicate with me about an increase in the charge before continuing with the work. I would never do business with them again. more

I've used Evergreen Bikes & Lawn Equipment for several bike and lawn equipment repairs. Every time I have visited, the employees have been very helpful in attempting to give an estimate that is usually fairly accurate. After having one bike repaired, the chain was still having problems and they fixed it for no additional charge. The minimum charge is around $20, and repairs are handled by the hour. There is also a wide range of bikes and lawn equipment that can be purchased. more
