Do NOT purchase anything from this dishonest retailer!!I purchased a very hard-to-find fragrance, Ricci Club, here on July 27th, 2011. This fragrance has been out of production for many years and my husband has been searching for any remaining bottles for a long time. The salesgirl sprayed a sample strip of this and a few other fragrances for me to smell, as I was comparing. I was delighted to have run accross it and purchased one of the two bottles the store had, with the intention of purchasing the second one also if my husband still loved the fragrance as much as he had years before. Gave the boxed bottle to my husband this morning, July 30th, as part of his birthday presents. Upon taking the bottle out of the box we found that it was almost completely empty, with a very little dark brown liquid left on the bottom!! Immediately returned to Parfumerie Everett, where the salesgirl's first words were: 'It is not my problem; you must have done something to it'!! She was evidently insinuating that I used up 6 month's worth of perfume in two days, when I had in fact not opened the box until today. I insisted she open the one remaining box of Ricci Club she had in stock: the bottle was full and of a lightly tinged tan color. Asked her to explain the difference in color (the residue in my bottle being of a dark brown color) and she again said that I must have done something to it. Aside from the fact that I would never do such a thing, it makes absolutely no sense that I would go to the trouble of chemically altering the residue in my bottle in order to get a ""free"" one! I paid $44.95 for the fragrance (and purchased another fragrance at $39.95 ~discounted ~ at the same time) My time and the chemicals necessary to alter it would be worth more than that by far. I can easily afford to buy perfume at regular prices and I am not in the habit of corrupting my morals for $44.95!! Obviously I was given a boxed bottle which has been used as a sample for years (hence the spoiled residue). When I suggested this, the salesgirl blatantly lied and said that was impossible since she NEVER gives out sample spray strips of 'hard-to-find' fragrances. Two days before ~ when I was a paying customer ~ however, she gave me a sample spray strip!! During our conversation the salesgirl used the phrase ""not my problem"" at least a dozen times. I asked for the manager's last name; she replied she did not know it. Asked for his phone number; she replied she did not want to give it. Asked when he would be in the store; she replied she did not know because he was out of town. She advised that my only recourse was to leave my name & number with her...and the manager would contact me at his convenience!! I did not leave my info, as I refuse to wait for that, likely never to happen, call. I am sure that she is chuckling at the fact that she was able to unload her spoiled sample bottle on me ~ unsuspecting and naive customer that I am! It is a disgraceful store and I am utterly disgusted at the fact that they stole $44.95 from me, forced me into a situation where I gave an empty bottle of cologne as a birthday present, then insinuated that I was the one trying to scam them!!!
