Events At Sherlake

We've enjoyed Events at Sherlake for our children's birthday parties several times and have been very impressed with the friendly, knowledgable owner and the amount of assistance they provide for the party. They provided 2 trained teenagers to watch and help out the kids, and to cut and serve the cake and keep things going. The parents are allowed to have fun at the party instead of trying to do everything at once. Its a well spread out and maintained room for the party and the kids are all well taken care of. more

We have 3 kids and we had host parties here at Events at Sherlake and one at Jumpity Jump, if you want to know the difference between them please read this and make your decision. Events at Sherlake: Great organization, employees HAVE MANNERS, they really run your party, you know at what time is time to go to eat cake and they tell you how much time you have left. Safety is excellent, you can walk between the inflatables, you have at least 2 teens helping the kids to climb and watching after them, adults can sit while they watch, adults play too, there are at least 2-3 persons serving cake, pizza soTHEY REALLY DO THE JOB. There is the option to have somebody taking pictures and to get a CD with them at the end of the event... TAKE IT. Jumpity Jump: your party is run 100% by rude teens, they were rude with me and with my guests, it is supposed that you have somebody in the room to supervise the kids while they play, we didn't, I had to climb and went at the very back of the inflatables because if a kid gets hurt in the back of the obstacles is hard to see. The spaces between the inflatables are small enough to walk through but big enough to catch a kid and suffocate him if you are not watching (I am an Occupational physician so I naturally diagnose risks sorry). Just one girl to take care of your party... my wife had friends to help but another friend who hosted a party there didn't and since it was only a girl serving it took her longer and they charge her extra time. Kids have fun, but there is an inflatable slide where 5 kids fell and landed in their heads but don't worry! They will kindly offer you a bag of ice... The presents are dropped in a shelf in the front, just make sure you got them all. At Events at Sherlake you have 1/2 hour more for the same price.Good luck!General advise, this jumping places with inflatable games are not for kids under 5 years old, all the little ones at our party had at least one ""small accident "" and cried at least once. Pros: A peace of mind and fun party. Safety first Cons: Just 2 inflatables but anyway, kids don't have less fun. more
