These guys were great; they explained everything that was going on and were extremely fair on the price (much lower than what other shops were quoting me). They were able to do a one day turnaround with my car, and so far it has been running perfectly. Would gladly return to this friendly shop again. more

As a continued customer of Evans Automotive I have been pleased with the company and their employees. A recent mishap on the freeway resulted in damage to the driver’s side of my Honda Accord. Evans Automotive was quick to get my car in the shop, take care of damages, and be the liaison between myself and the insurance company. It is increasingly difficult as a consumer to find a business I can trust and one I can depend on for quality work. However, at Evans Automotive there is an air of friendliness when I walk in and a confidence in the honesty and quality of work I will receive. more

I moved to Columbus and was looking for a car shop. I needed someone who was reliable. So far, everything I’ve had fixed there on my car has always been done right. They are always so nice there. They greet you right away, and the service guys are always willing to talk to you about anything. They explain things thoroughly so that you understand and know what’s going on with your car. If you think something isn’t right, you can bring it back and they will check it out for you, but I have always had great outcomes when I have gone. more

As a young female, i got nervous about am I getting the right price? Do i really need the service performed...but I just want to thank them for always going over all my options, PUTTING ALL MY WORRIES AT EASE and reminding me of future services and calling me to make sure everything is still going well my 2002 Jaguar. Stay away from this SHOP ... i called in for an estimate for water pump and timing belt on my car and they gave me 2 separate estimates adding upto $2000 in which 1500 was just labor.... my car when u do water pump you have to take out the timing belt in order to do it but they thought if i was stupid and wanted to charge 850 for water pump plus 700 for timing belt and thats just labor !!!! I CALLED THE DEALER and it was 1300$ for everything!!!! my friend took his bmw there and had warned me but now i know for myself they couldn't program his instrument cluster and charged him $500 in labor saying theres alot of issues with the car and still could not get it programmed he took it to kelly bmw and paid $160 for hour and half labor and was done without any issue !!! STAY AWAY !!! more

Brought my Jag in for a clutch... It was expensive and the result was not great. When Evans were done Tach didn't work, temp gauge didn't work, car started missing badly on way home, clutch was not adjusted right, air cleaner seal was not put on correctly, bonnet not aligned so it rubed on cowl... Just waiting to see what else I find. When I asked about it all I got was excuses: Tach: ""Wire was brittle"". 50 cent worth of wire and 15 minutes it worked. Temp Guage: ""Sender bad"". A few seconds with a wire brush on terminal temp guage works. Bonnet not aligned: ""That takes a long time to align properly"" Well when you take something off don't you factor in the time to put it back on correctly?! Or just throw it back together any old way? The miss was a coil wire not plugged in all the way. The clutch adjustment was not done for want of a $30 part which now I get to put on without a lift. Just waiting to find the next thing they screwed up. After a second complaint they said ""They'd take it up with the technician and owner"" Nothing back a week later. Stay FAR FAR away! more

I was recommended to take my car to this place by a woman whose husband works there. I was a little shocked at the price of my bill, but I assumed I would be paying for the quality of the repair and the 12,000 mile warranty that would be placed on the repair of my car. That seemed like a fair deal. I was far from reaching the 12,000 miles the warranty covered and under 6 months later, I had to return and have the car looked at again. I figured I would be under warranty because the problem appeared to be the same thing, but it wasn?t. It just eerily appeared to be the same problem, so I paid again. Also, if you know little about cars, be prepared to get an earful of terms and reasons. But that is anywhere, sure. Overall, some people may enjoy this place. But I have not. Pros: Secretaries are kind and patient. Cons: Seems like there is a lot of talk and razzle-dazzle. I feel I get talked over. more

I have take all my cars in to them for over 5 years now, I have never had to take a car back for a follow -up they have all ways fixed it right the first time!! they are the right tool for the right job for any type of car repair. more
