Eunice's Alterations

I have been going to Eunice's since 2005 when she altered my wedding gown to perfection. Since then I have had her alter 5-6 dresses and I just placed a custom dress order with her. She has always been upfront with costs, has always met every deadline, has great communication, and most importantly does extremely high quality work. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone in need of bridal or everyday tailoring. more

I was referred to this place by a friend of a friend, who had a great experience (Eunice's made all of her bridesmaid dresses). I had a bustle put in my Amsale wedding gown, take in the bust as well as repair a couple lost crystals on the side. It fit perfectly! She even created a side bustle that was perfect for the look of my gown. I also had a Bagley Mischka dress shortened and was more nervous about that than my wedding gown! The length ended up being perfect and the bust fit beautifully. She even repaired some missing buttons on my peacoat at no charge! I will be returning and recommending her to all my friends getting married in the next year. Pros: Great work, listened to my feedback more

I would not recommend this place. When I first went to drop off my bridesmaid dress, the lady was very nice and gave me about average price quote to take in the hem and take in the top of my dress. She said that it might be a little higher depending on how things went. Before I left she made a big deal about the fact that I did not have a check or cash to pay up front for the alterations. She made as if she was going to give me a written price quote, but didnt. When I came back to get the dress, she had doubled the price and insisted that I pay in cash even though I had a check for her. I ended up picking up one of the other bride's maid dresses and found out from the bride's maid that she had only paid half of what I paid for the same work. I will definitely will look elsewhere for the next wedding bridesmaid alterations I need done. more
