She really takes the time to customize the facial to what your skin needs. Simply amazing-- great space, incredible value, convenient location and best facials ever! more

Heidi rocks! 8/3/2007

Heidi was wonderful! She rearranged her schedule to accommodate a group of out of town gurls ready to be waxed. She was kind enough to provide mimosas and treats for us first timers. I was a bit anxious about having a perfect stranger ruffling around my nether regions, but the experience was as laid-back and relaxed as I can imagine. It was like chatting with a gurl friend (only slightly more painful). The spa is very comfortable and relaxed - not too stuffy. And to top it off, she had a great offering of funky, lovely jewelry. I will definitely go back to Heidi when I'm in Portland again. Pros: friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere more

Best Facial Ever 8/3/2007

This was the best facial I have ever had, not only was it amazing from a technical stand point really aligned to my skins needs but the atmosphere was so relaxing without the pomp and pretense you normally get at spas. Heidi is just a wonderful, down to earth, and full of life character. This is not an experienced to be missed. And I also found their pricing to be appropriate, I got my money's worth if not more and if I lived in Portland would go back regularly. Unfortunately living in Seattle means I can only visit from time to time. On and the little shops and cafe nearby are just adorable. Pros: Atmosphere, value for money, skilled application, comprehensive approach Cons: Not in Seattle more

Thanks Heidi for a great experience. No one likes to get waxed but coming in and having a glass of wine and chatting with you for a moment before getting my hair ripped out made it much more relaxing. You are down to earth and your spa is cozy without all the stuffiness I have gotten other places. I love what you have done here and look forward to coming back. Best Bikini Wax and Great Customer Service!! 2/6/2007

I highly recommend Ethereal Day Spa for your next waxing. Julia was great!!! Although any waxing is uncomfortable this was by far my most pleasant experience. Julia was so kind. She made me feel very comfortable and we got along great! The conversation helped distract from the minor pain of the bikini wax. When you are needing a wax or facial next...check out Ethereal Day Spa. Pros: Julia was the best!!! Great location, lots of Parking, and fabulous atmosphere more
