Essex Meadows

The 10/2005 comment from Kathryn C. about Essex Meadows is way off base. It is just not true. I have never experienced a bad odor anywhere at all. My parents have lived here for 1 1/2 years and I have spent a lot of time there in the common rooms, lecture hall, dining room, in their apartment and in the health center. It is a wonderful place to live. It is beautiful and elegant. Residents are friendly and neighborly and the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. All sorts of services are available if you need them. And you can be as independent as you like. There are tons of activities & trips. The dining room is like a really nice restaurant & the food is delicious. Call for a tour and see for yourself. Essex Meadows is not just any senior living residence; it is the best one in this area! more

I have heard some wonderful comments about essex Meadows, however when we were scouting a place my grandmother I was not all that impressed. I immediately smelled an odor upon entering the building and it seemed to hover no matter what part of the buildings we were in. I often saw patients in the main building wondering looking quite sad and lonely. The accomations are beautiful, do not get me wrong, it was not the type of place I felt comfortable putting my grandmother. more
