Espiga has great bakery stuff, which is shown on their website, but the extra special part of this place is the delicious South American cuisine you can have every day at lunch and the Saturday Ecuadorian menu. It's all home cooking and you'll crave it after you taste it.
Now about the bakery items. The flan is rich and creamy...almost more like a creme brulee. Guava cake is spectacular, and all the cakes and cookies are delish.
I actually drive 20 miles a few times a month to get Espiga food!
