This place has saved my life more than once. The first papusa I ever had in my life was here and since then, nothing else really ever comes close. Try the Papusa de Loroco - it has some kind of flower bud mixed in with the cheese. Its grand. Also good is the Machaca con Huevos on the breakfast menu. Really good the morning after a night out. Oh and they really should raise their prices... ;P more

Best Salvadorean I have ever had 10/18/2003

On Charleston two blocks away from the historic Huntridge Theater we found this great little Salvadorean restaurant. The food, experience and the staff have made this a great choice time and time again. It's the only place in town I know where to get a Regia beer, a papusa and a shrimp cocktail. The decor makes you feel at home if you were from Salvador! I can't rave enough about this place, my favorite restaurant in the city. Pros: Inexpensive, Great food Cons: Closes early more
