Eshe Day Spa/Salon

I took my fiance to Eshe for his birthday. We both received facials and massages. This was our first massage and our Massage Therapist, Grace, put us both at the greatest of ease. The Spa itself was so quiet and serene, and the service that we received did more than match the atmosphere. I definitely plan on returning, and I reccomend this spa to anyone looking for a great expirence without the pretention. Pros: Great staff, great atmosphere. more

I like Eshe hair salon because my stylist Audrie has brought my hair back to health from being damaged from bleaching and over perming. Now it looks and feels great. As a professional woman, I also like the fact that I can get out in an hour even on Saturday. I don't have time to spend my whole day at the hairdresser. I also like the environment of friendly people and the convenience factor. I get my nails done at the same time that I am sitting under the hair dryer and I can get other spa services too all in one place. Pros: Parking is so close. All I do is park at Grant Park garage, go up the escalator and then walk a few steps to the door of the building. more

I have been to many spas around Chicago and I go to them any time I travel so I have seen all kinds of places. But for me this was truly a gem in the city. Every one from the front desk to the person I saw cleaning was helpful and friendly. I was lead to the spa area and you could tell this place was clean. more

This was BY FAR the worst massage experience of my life. The space is in no way sound-proofed and you better enjoy overhearing all of the staff's personal conversations rather than being able to relax. I received the worst massage possible from a woman who prided herself on the the fact that she'd only been doing massage therapy for a year. I left in SIGNIFICANTLY more pain that I'd come with, and had to get muscle relaxers and pain medication to undo the ""help"" that she'd given me. Plus, when I attempted to contact the spa to get a refund, they've blown me off for over a week and not returned a call to date. I would stay away from this place, or just go ahead and burn your $100 in your backyard, at least you won't be going to the hospital afterwards... Cons: They have yet to return ONE phone call... more

I took my sister here for her birthday and the place was great, or at least we thought. We were both so happy with our treatments (and my sister is a spa snob). I immediately booked another day of treatments for my boyfriend and I. However, when I called to confirm our treatments, they had no record of my appointment and they didn't seem to care that they had lost it. It was very frustrating, they didn't have any openings that worked with our schedules and were rude when I tried to understand what happened and find another convenient time to reschedule. I received a gift Certificate for a men's package to Eshe DAy Sap and Salon. It was a great experience. I was made to feel very comfortable (as a man , and this was my first time at a Spa but definately not the last). The customer service was extraordinary and the atmosphere was while professional , very friendly from the front desk to every service received. more

I am very picky about who I let do my hair, but this place was great, very quick and efficient. The stylist was friendly and so was everyone else. I felt like I had been coming to this place for years. It is a very welcoming environment. I will continue to go here for all my beauty needs more

I began going to Eshe in 02/05 and on my first visit I made the decision to make Eshe the only place for me to go to receive all of my Beauty Services. My daugther Gabrielle and I went to Eshe's for a girls day out and it was her first time. Gabrielle loved the service and wants to bring here freinds for a visit.
