Erzulies Authentic Voodoo

I finally got to stop in at Erzulies during Jazz Fest. It's always a highlight to my NOLA trips after getting more than enough of the tourist traps and ""New orleans voodoo dolls"" for sale with made in china tags.\r Erzulies is the real deal and definitely the place to go if you want quality product and service and not to have to be hassled by the crowds of the bored and drunk.\r The owner and staff are friendly, informative and professional. Unique items that can be found nowhere else, not even in New Orleans. If you miss this store on your visit, you missed out on one of the real authentic New Orleans cultural gems. more

The nasty comment left by that review person seems made up by a petty, vindictive nasty person - Ive been a customer for years ALWAYS had instant response and love all items especially spell kits as does everyone else - read their testimonial page or visit in person- also, they dont use Fedex, never have (been ordering for 8 years), so thats a lie too. there items are the best otherwise that person would not have been shopping their for years like they said. Every time I email the owner she respond herself, did you try talking with her first,my guess is no - you just want to be nasty and vindictive...may you get back everything you do to others. I shopped at Erzulies for YEARS and bought everything from dolls to spells, soaps to readings, oils to perfumes--you name it, i bought it! i bought a ""spell"", received it and put it up till I needed it. When I finally opened the FedEx wrapper for the first time, I realized that it came with everything except instructions. I contacted the store and asked if they could send the instructions and was told NO. I asked again and was told that I could purchase ANOTHER $65 spell in order to get the instructions. I know the stuff is all garbage and never works, but its fun and smells nice. They are as sweet and accomodating as can be when you have the credit card out, but treat you like garbage in the way of service. DON'T SHOP HERE! THERE ARE MUCH NICER PEOPLE IN NOLA TO GIVE YOUR $$$ TO FOR WORTHLESS JUNK!!! more
