My 17 yr old son & I went to Ernie's for gas at 6PM on Saturday May 1st 2010. I sent my son in to pay for the gas as well as buy himself a pop. I gave him $23 & told him to buy the pop then put the rest towards gas. While my son was inside a man kept popping his head out the door stating that the cashier was having issues with the computer on top of being on a double shift. Apparently the woman at pump #5 bought gas but the cashier applied it to pump #1 which was our pump. My son finally came out but didn't inform me until we were already driving away that the cashier was yelling at everyone inside including him. He had the good sense to look at her name tag. Tracy the cashier yelled at the guy poking his head out trying to help by yelling more directions at him. She yelled at my son because he couldn't tell her what the remaining balance would be after buying a pop to put towards gas. I've never had that problem at any other gas station. She was screaming out that I was stealing gas when everyone else was telling her I wasn't even pumping anything. I'm shocked they keep employees like this when there are so many people out there looking for work who would appreciate a job & not jeopardize it by acting ""a fool"". I won't go there again until she is gone & my son receives an apology. No one deserved to be yelled at for her mistake. It's our money & we decide who receives it. If a business can't treat people right then they shouldn't get any money from those people. They are responsible for their employees & as long as they keep her they are condoning her actions.
Pros: ???
Cons: Cashier taking frustrations out on customers
