Our son is an EHS alum and was an EHS student from the fall of 1994 through the spring of 1998. EHS faculty and staff knew Jack on a personal level: his gifts and his challenges. They supported, challenged, and cared about him throughout his 4 years of school. Administrative staff were flexible in allowing Jack to personalize his own course of learning. He and I still maintain contact with his some of his teachers and staff. EHS was a wonderful place for Jack to learn and grow. I'll never forget the time when he came home one afternoon saying, ""I didn't know that I was smart!"" He didn't elaborate but it was obvious that something very important occurred between him and a teacher or teachers that day at the school. Jack had no problems being a successful, college undergraduate and graduate student. He is a contributing member of society and appreciates his experiences at a high school where he learned that life, itself, is the greatest teacher. As his dad, I love EHS.
