The Episcopal Bookstore is worth stopping if you are religious or not. They have a very friendly staff that is very personal and have a wealth of knowledge.
This is by far the best bookstore in Seattle due to the the level of customer service and they personal attention they give every person who stops by. They radiate friendly.
They are located on Stone Way near Green Lake and Gasworks Park. Street parking can be a pain, but it is much worth the trip.
The books and gifts they carry are liberal and work for many occasions. The store's inventory is arranged logically and they always ask if help is needed finding a particular book. If not, they let you browse freely.
When I have not been able to make it to the store, I have purchased online through their website and had very good experiences there as well.
