The Ephrata Cloister is a wonderful experience for people who want to learn real history. The environment is lovely, photogenic and peaceful.
This place tells the story of German immigrants, about 1730, why they chose Pennsylvania, and how these people lived.
It feels so far from the shopping malls in place and time.
It is a great place for adults or children with a sense of calm curiosity. I choose four stars instead of five because it may not be the best for rambunctious children.
