Had lunch here today after not having gone here in more than a year. This place has been around for years. It seems a little more formal (less "window" service) than it used to be, but it's still very casual. The portions for the luncheon special are huge: you get hot and sour soup, huge serving of rice, and big portion of entree (I had Yu Hsian Shrimp, and there were about 20 shrimp plus mushrooms and water chestnut -- shrimp also comes with a big spring roll). Their water has lemon in it, and the service is very polite. I'm happy that they still carry the buns (scallion roll and a couple of other savory buns) that they've had for years. It's a good place for solo lunch because they stock reading materials for customers. It's a little tricky to get there because it's one of those weird access roads on the side of Rte. 9 Westbound.
