I rent cars through Enterprise quite often. I usually rent in New Jersey because they have cheaper rates. Due to an emergency, I rented from this location (it is closer to me).
Despite my information being in their system, the representstive called my place of employment and the telephone company to verify my information. I never experienced this before at the other locations. A credit card/debit card is usually all that is necessary. Then when I returned the car to the location, I got the impression that the representative was trying to add on extra charges. I was one hour late returning the vehicle and they did not allow me a grace period. I was told an extra day would be added on to the rental. And he suggested that I keep the car until the next day since I was being charged for it anyway. When I returned the car the next day, he pointed out a little dent that was in the back door.
